A small town, Fort White is situated in Columbia County in Central Florida and is only four miles from the Ichetucknee Springs State Park. The Ichetucknee Springs State Park has gained the reputation of being a popular tubing spot because of a series of natural springs, which provides clear and sparkling water to the park. There are two main entrances to the park and one can rent tubes from the vendors outside the park. Experience the pleasure of floating leisurely on a tube and catching some extraordinary views of the woodlands and limestone outcrops and maybe even spotting some rare species of birds and animals on the way. Other major attraction is the Florida Sports Hall of Fame and Museum in Lake City, which is quite nearby to Fort White and the Osceola National Forest. Fort White will not be more than sixty miles from either of the Florida Coast.
